Let me give you a warm welcome on the website of SZÁMALK-Salesian Post-Secondary Institute.
Our organization is funded by the Hungarian Salesian Province, which means that we follow the footsteps of Father Don Bosco: we are committed to serve, to teach and educate the youth by Don Bosco’s instructions with great love, patience, understanding and in a cheerful manner – to give them faith and purpose in life and to provide community to all our students who need it.
We offer courses with an admission criteria of GCSE/secondary qualification, which means that our students’ age ranges from 18 years upwards (ISCED level 4). The training period lasts for 2 years and we offer training courses in three big areas: IT (e.g. software-developer, system operator), ART (graphic designer, photographer, decorator, painter, movie and animation specialist) and HUMANITIES (tourist guide, social event manager, teacher assistant).
Our students have the opportunity to take part in full-time education (80%) as well as we offer evening courses (20%) to those who are employed.
The total number of our students is 800. Our training portfolio currently contains 20 programs in 7 vocational areas at advanced and high levels.
We are open to start any meaningful cooperation that is in line with our education strategy, so in case you became interested, feel free to get in touch! (firstname.lastname@example.org)
